Things you need to know:

  • Clubs will run for 8 weeks, March 20 - May 12

  • Time - 3:30-4:30 pm for all clubs.

  • Clubs are $150 ($75 due at time of registration, $75 billed to your FACTS account mid-April.

  • You may register up to 4 students on one application.

LEGO CLUB:  Monday, 6th - 12th, Mr. Diaz

Middle and High School students will build on creativity, problem-solving, critical thinking skills, and cooperation using Legos to build solutions to various engineering design challenges. Children are natural engineers and are always asking questions and thinking of new ideas. Lego Club will encourage and enhance this natural inventiveness by providing students with weekly challenges for which they must use innovative thinking to find and build a solution.

JR. DANCE CLUB:  Monday, PK - 5th, Ms. Mia Smith

Elementary students will have an opportunity to work with this award winning instructor to learn various dance genres, including hiphop, jazz, contemporary, and lyrical dance. Students will develop a joy for dance, fitness and learning new skills, collaborating to try different dance styles each week.

VIDEO GAME CLUB:  Monday, 6th - 12th, Mr. Jared Canaan

Middle and High school students will have a great time to socializing and make friendships in a safe, God centered environment while playing video games! Some games that will be played are Mario Kart, Super Smash Bros, Mario Party, Rocket League, etc. It will mostly consist of Nintendo games that are all kid friendly and sports games such as NBA and NFL games.

JR. ART CLUB:  Monday, PK - 2nd, Mrs. Roman

Elementary students will be working on different art and craft projects, such as drawing, coloring, and painting by following fun art videos. Students will have the chance to develop their personal artistic skills while working with students who have similar interests.

LEGO STEM CLUB:  Tuesday, 3rd - 5th, Ms. Christensen

Elementary students will have fun adventures in science each week, explore the world of physics and chemistry while doing crazy experiments. See how simple machines make work easier through engineering with Legos. And who doesn't love edible experiments in food science? 

"LEFT BEHIND" BOOK CLUB:  Tuesday, 6th - 8th, Mrs. Ojeda

Middle school students will dive into these action packed books following the lives of teens during the tribulation with nothing left but their newfound faith in Jesus Christ. Students will enjoy opportunities to listen to audio versions of the book together, have group discussions, and grow to have a better understanding on what the bible says about end times and what this should mean for them personally. 

BOARD GAME CLUB:  Tuesday, 6th - 12th, Mrs. Lackey

Students will enjoy fun, competitive play, engaging their problem solving and decision making skills. They will enjoy games like Monopoly, Risk, Life, Scrabble, Uno, Clue, Ticket to Ride, and more!

JR. K'NEX & VIDEO GAME CLUB:  Tuesday, 2nd - 5th, Ms. Plylar and Mrs. Ortiz

Elementary students will have a great time socializing and making friendships in a safe, God-centered environment while playing video games!  Some games that will be played are Mario Kart, Super Smash Bros, Mario Party, Wii Sports, Lumberjack and other games, all will be G-rated.  Students will also enjoy playing with K'nex kits building advanced projects like a helicopter, ferris wheel, airplane, car, etc;. 

 

Students are welcome to bring their own gaming system such as, Switch, Nintendo DS, tablets or phones. Please note; the students will not be allowed to text, use any social media applications or games none G-related.

MS LIFE SKILLS CLUB:  Tuesday, 6th - 8th, Ms. Collado

This club is designed for girls to gain confidence as they grow into women of God. Girls will be taught how to work through life’s situations by learning how to journal, use movement, search the word of God, and many other life skills to help manage and be good stewards of their life.

PEP SQUAD CLUB:  Wednesday, PK - 5th, Ms. Betancourt & Mrs. Roman

2:30 - 3:30 pm

Come learn how to have school spirit with the pep squad. We will learn cheers, a dance, and stunts! It's the perfect club to prepare you to be a future Lady Warrior Cheerleader!

Wednesday clubs may need to meet on a Thursday, notifications will be sent in advance.

MS COOKING CLUB:  Wednesday, 6th - 8th, Mrs. Krisle

2:30 - 3:30 pm

A fun way for kids to learn cooking/baking basics, teamwork, creativity in the kitchen, and enjoy food with one another! Middle school students will learn everything from boiling eggs to baking cookies in a safe and supervised environment.

Wednesday clubs may need to meet on a Thursday, notifications will be sent in advance.

ART CLUB:  Thursday, 4th - 8th, Ms. Hernandez

Middle school students will be working on different art and craft projects, such as drawing, coloring, and painting by following fun art videos. Students will have the chance to develop their personal artistic skills while working with students who have similar interests.

JR. PHOTOGRAPHY CLUB:  Thursday, PK - 1st, Mrs. Pulford

Kids Photo Club is designed to inspire learning, fun and passion within photography for small children. Students will learn camera care, grip, creativity, exploration, subject, perspective, zoom, details, composition, focus and storytelling. With their own small cameras students will have a different task to complete each week. We will venture out on walks around campus and shoot in our classroom. At the end of each class children will view their images together on the Smart TV. Each student will have their work printed and preserved in their very own portfolio to treasure for years to come.

HS LIFE SKILLS CLUB:  Thursday, 9th - 12th, Ms. Collado

This club is designed for girls to gain confidence as they grow into women of God. Girls will be taught how to work through life’s situations by learning how to journal, use movement, search the word of God, and many other life skills to help manage and be good stewards of their life.

CROCHET CLUB:  Thursday, 4th - 8th, Ms. Carmoega

Students will learn the basics of working with a hook and yarn and receive step by step instructions on how to create really cute projects.

GUITAR CLUB:  Friday, 6th - 12th, Mr. Don Humes (COL Staff Member)

Guitar club is an awesome way to introduce your child to the world of music! In this group we will start at the very beginning, students will learn how to read music and understand the rhythm as it applies to the guitar. As we progress, we will move on to chords and fun songs that will be sure to entertain. Students will need to bring their own guitar to class and if they don't have one, we will be happy to help you find one before the class starts!
